Ambassador of France visits the Parliament of Vanuatu
The Ambassador of France paid a visit to the Speaker of Parliament, Esmon SIMON. During this interview, the Speaker informed the ambassador of his willingness to participate in the development of the Francophonie in Vanuatu by launching the creation of the association of French-speaking parliaments in the region. This association would bring together the "parliaments" of Vanuatu and the three French Pacific communities. Mr. Esmon Simon also informed the Ambassador of his upcoming trip to Wallis and Futuna to strengthen ties with this French community like those that exist with New Caledonia and French Polynesia.
